Job Summary


As a Site Manager, you will be based within our Design and Build Team, responsible for the on-site installation, support, and maintenance of specialist smart building technology across a number of well-established Client sites.


Whilst you will have strong underlying competencies in managing the installation of Structured Cabling projects, you will also have a willingness to learn and further develop skills, working across multiple smart technologies including, Audio-Visual, Electronic Security, IoT and Wired, Wireless & Mobile Networks.


You will be responsible for managing and coordinating on site installations teams, liaising with site personnel to ensure all works are coordinated whilst managing all documentation. You will also provide consistently high levels of customer service, this being a vital part of the role, and achieved by working diligently to accurately interpret and deliver our customers’ needs.


By demonstrating solid levels of knowledge, skills and expertise in cabling infrastructure and site management, you will help the team to deliver projects on time and on budget, with a focus on technical excellence and maintaining Health and Safety standards.


Qualifications


Essential

  • ECS Card.
  • CNCI.
  • SMSTS.
  • Full, clean Driving Licence.
  • Fluke or similar Testing software (Linkware).


Desirable

  • Minimum 5 A*-C GCSE's, including Maths and English.
  • First Aid
  • IPAF or PASMA.
  • CTPM
  • PAT testing


Experience


Essential

  • Relevant practical experience in a similar role.
  • Management of Patching / WAP installation.
  • Experience installing mainstream copper and fibre ICT cabling systems.


Desirable

  • Familiar with containment installation, different types, environments, and uses.
  • Awareness of Audio Visual, Electronic Security, IoT, and Wired & Wireless Network architecture.
