Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for all aspects of the desk/division including building and managing the team, day to day operations, candidate recruitment, database accuracy, retention and strategic long term divisional planning
  • Drive sales activity and high performance on a daily basis ensuring agreed gross profit and client/Framework service standards are achieved/exceeded
  • Build influential and maintain strong strategic relationships with customers externally and internally
  • Lead successful collaboration, teamwork and build reciprocal business partnerships
  • Drive and generate new business, from lead initiation to sales conversion to grow market share, clients, services and increase divisional GP
  • Devise and lead continuous improvements to add value, maximise team efficiencies, impact, success and transformation
  • Maximise customer service excellence, proactively anticipate and swiftly resolve any problems, conflict or commercial issues, acting as point of escalation as required
  • As a billing recruitment manager, act as a positive role model employee and recruiter promoting excellence, championing company policy and procedures at all times
  • Ensure each team member understands their role, business expectations and achieves their KPIs
  • Utilise business acumen and commercial insights to inform evidence-based decisions to drive positive return on investment, time, resources and build competitive advantage
  • Motivate, lead, inspire, coach, mentor staff within the desk/division, provide knowledge, expertise and clarity and resolve problems and conflict as required
  • Undertake regular performance reviews with your staff to share feedback, identify current obstacles, any training needs, support their development, progression and provide creative solutions to ensure individual continued success
  • Plan, coordinate, manage and report on the progress of the desk/division including candidate utilisation, business forecasting, creating business plans, reports and management information as requested
  • Ensure team compliance with all statutory, contractual, commercial, legal, financial, data protection, GDPR, safeguarding and Framework requirements
  • Conduct regular process internal audits/reviews to ensure all operational procedures are robust, effective, efficient and compliant
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Experience

  • Proven healthcare recruitment experience supplying locum doctors to the NHS and Private Health Care Sector
  • Evidence of successfully growing and expanding a desk from start-up
  • Leading and managing high performing recruitment consultants
  • Experience of mentoring, training and motivating other healthcare recruitment consultants
  • Demonstrable experience of driving and generating new business, from lead initiation to sales conversion and increased revenue
  • Expert market knowledge in designated recruitment area
  • Competent user of IT, including Microsoft outlook, word and excel
