Chemical Regulatory Data Specialist

We are looking for a regulatory officer with knowledge of substance or mixture classification and SDS/label authoring experience. Role is in a large product stewardship department at a UK based global speciality chemicals business.


The role will entail:

  • Management of raw material data
  • Validation of classifications, SDS and labels
  • Liaison with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies
  • Classification of finished products
  • Production of SDSs and labels
  • Identification of changes and developments to regulations impacting raw materials / products
  • Assessment of the impact of regulatory changes
  • Communication with the business
  • Solution implementation


We are interested to hear from chemistry graduates with experience of hazard communication, ideally within a chemical company regulatory environment. You may be a development chemist who writes SDS / classifies products or work in the regulatory compliance team providing regulatory support.


You must have knowledge of CLP or GHS classifications, SDS authoring and writing labels.
