Role Purpose: As an HR Business Partner, you will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for aligning our people strategy with business objectives. You will work closely with Regional Directors, Area Managers, and Managers to deliver HR solutions that support our transformational journey.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive People Strategy: Shape and deliver the people strategy to address workforce challenges and support business goals.
  • Change Management: Lead and implement change initiatives, ensuring a positive experience for our employees.
  • Employee Relations: Empower managers with the skills to handle employee relations effectively and support complex cases.
  • Workforce Planning: Develop and execute robust workforce plans to minimize vacancies and agency usage.
  • Culture and Employee Experience: Champion Lifeways' culture and enhance the employee experience to make Lifeways a fantastic place to work.
  • Data-Driven Actions: Utilize data and insights to create people-oriented actions that are fit for purpose across the business.
  • Collaborative Efficiencies: Work collaboratively with other HRBPs and central HR functions to achieve cross-divisional and functional efficiencies, minimize duplication, and maximize organizational capability.
  • Voice of the Service: Bring the voice of the service into HRLT and the HR function to ensure our employees have the best possible experience and that we are recognized as an employer of choice.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Experience: Several years in a generalist HR role with strong relationship management and business partnering skills.
  • Strong experience in a manging Tupes in and out
  • Strong commercial acumen, coaching ability, and experience in managing formal employment tribunal claims.
  • Strategic thinker, effective communicator, change management expertise, and a people-oriented mindset.
  • Able to demonstrate clear commercial acumen including the ability to make a direct connection between work activity and value to the business.


Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 or equivalent business/professional qualification.
