Your Role as a PR Freelancer:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies for consumer technology and consumer product campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize multiple PR campaigns, ensuring high-quality execution and results.
  • Leverage your extensive PR database to secure media placements and drive brand visibility.
  • Work quickly and efficiently across various campaigns to meet tight deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop compelling press releases, pitches, and media materials.
  • Provide expert guidance on PR best practices and innovative strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven optimizations.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing direction and support to ensure their goals are met and expectations are exceeded.


Essential Competencies:

  • Proven experience in consumer technology and consumer product PR.
  • Extensive experience working with PR campaigns in the USA.
  • Access to a robust PR database and ability to leverage it effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with expertise in crafting compelling press materials.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and support.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.


Desirable Competencies:

  • Experience with crowdfunding campaigns, including equity crowdfunding (Seedrs, Crowdcube) and reward-based crowdfunding (Kickstarter, Indiegogo).
  • Understanding of digital marketing and its integration with PR strategies.
  • Interest in emerging technologies and their potential applications in PR.
