Purpose of Post:


The JAQ Group is a dynamic and fast-growing company specialising in perfumes, body cosmetics, and scented homeware. The Head of New Product Development will lead the creation, design, and implementation of innovative products to enhance the company’s portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for creativity, market trends, and leadership in product development and a stong business accuem in the e-commerce market.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement the New Product Development strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives.

Drive the product innovation pipeline from concept to market launch.

Project Management:

Oversee all stages of product development, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Production, and Sales.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences.

Analyse competitive products and identify opportunities for differentiation.

Supplier and Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with suppliers to source materials and ensure product quality.

Liaise with key stakeholders, including the Managing Director, for project approvals and updates.

Team Development:

Lead and mentor the New Product Development team to achieve their full potential.

Foster a collaborative and innovative working environment.

Compliance:

Ensure that all products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Language Skills:

Use fluency in Chinese to communicate with international suppliers and partners effectively.
