Job Purpose


To provide efficient and effective support to the UK &I sales and marketing functions in order to assist with the day-to-day running of the business


Key Responsibilities:


  • Managing all UK&I marketing events, including planning, logistics and administration, and managing sub-contractors, attendance on the day to carry out duties such as welcoming & registering customers and coordinating seminars, amongst other things
  • Supporting planning and efficient usage of marketing budget
  • Liaise with Press and Media (Sending information and managing these relationships)
  • Distributing marketing material externally to suppliers and customers
  • Managing local vendors for marketing and office needs
  • Providing a support function for the pre-defined marketing plan
  • Providing support to the Technical & Training Manager in terms of administration, including; invitations, confirmations, certificates of attendance etc…
  • Competitor analysis
  • Liaising regularly with our European HQ as a main point of contact
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as deemed necessary by the Line Manager


Skill Requirements:


  • Excellent project management skills, time management and priority handling
  • Team player, self-motivated and able to work on own and under pressure
  • Excellent level of spoken and written English
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Able to adjust communication style and use diplomacy to be effective with stakeholders while being assertive
  • Able to present facts and ideas clearly and succinctly
  • Ability to manage and plan workload effectively
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Degree in Marketing related field or relevant experience
  • PC Literate - intermediate & advanced ‘Microsoft Office’ skills to include Excel
  • Proven experience in a similar role required
  • Experience within the Security industry (desirable)
  • Clean Driving License
