We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to design and lead our technology product function.


The Lead Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, execution, delivery and lifecycle of all technology products. You will ideate, strategise, develop and maintain the delivery of scalable, world-class B2B and B2C technology products for our business customers. You will be at the heart of Rowan Energy product development, contributing to and delivering against a strategy to help us reach our objectives, creating opportunities with your deep market understanding and keeping the product suite focused and value-driven.


You will have an excellent understanding of how to analyse both markets and

customers to build out value propositions. Working closely with the SLT and customers, you’ll drive development of our technology products, continually assessing them

against the big picture.


You are creatively minded but also systematic, and use data to evaluate and drive decision making. Always considering the commercial angle, you’re equally driven by great customer experiences. Your understanding of product market fit is sound and you have the personal

skills to bring together diverse opinions to build consensus and buy-in to the Rowan Energy product direction. You will own the entire product portfolio across B2B and B2C solutions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Roadmap & Prioritisation:


  • Own the overall Rowan Energy product roadmap, ensuring a focus

on initiatives that support Rowan Energy business plan, represent real

value to the market and are sustainable and commercially viable.

  • Lead the Rowan Energy prioritisation processes ensuring we deliver

products that solve customer problems, deliver strong market

position and generate durable business benefits.

  • Apply user research, data analysis, competitor analysis and utilise

technical guidance to make informed decisions about what to

pursue and what not to pursue.

  • Ensure that new product propositions are suitably quantified for

value of outcome before being committed to roadmaps and delivery.

  • You will act as both a supporter and scrutineer of new ideas.
  • Constantly assess the Rowan Energy products at a high level to see

how we can leverage and refine them for greater business and

customer outcomes.


Product Delivery:


  • Lead a cross functional team to deliver quality, working software that

can ultimately be released as sellable products

  • Work in an agile environment
  • Act as the Product Owner, managing the backlog and team

ceremonies, prioritise the team’s work, drive definition of and

acceptance of stories

  • Gather requirements and define high level delivery expectations

(Epics/features)

  • Set direction by prioritising roadmaps and epics to quarterly Product

Increments

  • Prioritise features to releases, roadmaps and mapping of milestones
  • Ensure organisational readiness of releases


Leadership and Culture:


  • Contribute to a culture of scalability, commercial return, and

customer centricity.

  • Inspire your team members to progress the Rowan Energy product lines, in

creative and innovative ways to meet business objectives and

  • improve customer NPS.
  • Contribute to coaching the team and utilise their expertise to facilitate deep, creative

problem definition and problem solving.

  • Contribute to coaching the team in product delivery and mindset.
  • Communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap to the

product delivery team and all other stakeholders at Rowan Energy.

  • Make Rowan Energy enjoyable for your team and others by building

great relationships, being fair, and ensuring everyone’s voice feeds

into the collective output.
