Job Title: Technical Maintenance Operator
Location: UB1 - Southall
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: £35,000 per annum

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Technical Maintenance Operator to join their team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all building systems. This is a key role in maintaining a safe, functional, and high-quality environment for all occupants of a private building. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all critical building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building maintenance, ideally in a residential setting MUST.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP).
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
  • A proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and building compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with tenants, contractors, and management.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform emergency repairs and ensure minimal disruption to the building's operations.
  • Maintain and repair elevators, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Monitor and manage the building's equipment to ensure everything is operating within safety and regulatory standards.
  • Record and report all maintenance work, including completed tasks, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring all work is done in a safe and efficient manner.
