Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for a BIM Coordinator to work on the renowned Oriel project. Oriel is a joint initiative to transform a two-acre site at St Pancras Hospital to deliver a pioneering eye care, research, and education centre. The project will be a new, state-of-the-art building with an anticipated gross internal area of up to 46,000m2. Designed with flexibility in mind, it will be able to meet future service requirements and keep pace with changes in technological, medical or research requirements. Its design has been the subject of an extensive programme of engagement with patients, staff and partner organisations to ensure a national standard for accessibility is created.


Essential:

All round knowledge of construction industry and processes ideally with a Structural or MEP background

• Excellent all round technical knowledge particular Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office 365

• Revit exam-based certification would be advantageous

• Excellent presentation skills

• Experience in other applications would be advantageous AutoCAD, Revizto, Solibri or Asite

• Ability to organize and manage own workflow

• Ability to work autonomously

• A Strong attention to detail

• Capability and experience with working in diverse environments, cultures and people


Role Description:

Reporting to the BIM Manager, the role is task specific supporting the implementation and coordination of the Project BIM Models in compliance with the BIM governance (BIM Execution Plan and supporting documents) and supporting various BIM uses. The primary role for the coordinator will be to manage the Clash Detection, Builders Works Processes and Model Assessments defined for the project
