At GlobalLogic we are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Developer, with IOS and Android experience (most of the work will be IOS so a focus on IOS experience is preferred). You will be working on one of our client projects optimising how front-line work gets planned and executed through the platform and connected apps. Our client is a well-known, established organisation, but the project environment is that of a start up organisation, so any experience working within a start up organisation would be highly beneficial. In the project you will be working on the early stage development of products, giving you the opportunity to shape and them with your ideas and experience.
Role accountabilities:
- Design, develop and test new features for our expanding product suite.
- Develop features for a native mobile application on iOS and Android.
- Collaborate with other web and mobile developers as we build our server-driven UI platform
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Work independently and own feature development from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with the engineering team and contribute to the overall design of the system.
- Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning
- Contribute to code reviews
Key qualifications
- 7+ years experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on mobile development
- In-depth knowledge of native mobile development for iOS and Android using Swift UI or Jetpack Compose
- Knowledge of composable design patterns
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and Test Driven Development
- Experience with Microservices, gRPC, containerisation and Kubernetes
- Experience with Cloud platforms in either Azure of AWS
- Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiar with Agile, DevOps, Gitops and CI/CD pipelines
