Job Purpose

To develop and implement strategic marketing plans to support customer acquisition and revenue growth of SCS’s global enterprise-level customers.

About The Strategic Content Solutions Group (SCS)

Strategic Content Solutions, part of RWS’s Language Services division, works closely with major accounts and clients of all sizes who are going global with specialized localization services. These services cover the entire localization spectrum, from translating content, media, and audio to creating engaging eLearning programs and transcreating highly impactful marketing campaigns. The SCS works closely with RWS’s Language eXperience Delivery (LXD) platform, which includes 2,000 in-house linguists, and a network of more than 29,000 translators, who use RWS’s proprietary machine translation, AI, and translation productivity tools, to deliver a 24/7 service to clients.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning: Create and execute strategic marketing plans to achieve acquisition and growth of enterprise-level customers, by using a holistic approach that attracts attention, drives engagement, spurs consideration, and creates brand loyalty
  • Demand generation: Generate increased demand for RWS’s services with target enterprise-level customers across all non-regulated industries, utilizing relevant tools and external partners as necessary
  • Account-based marketing: Implement ABM strategies for key target accounts, aligning with sales priorities
  • Campaign strategy: Devise and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement, leads, and sales for SCS
  • Marketing management: Own the end-to-end management of the marketing plan for enterprise-level customers, being flexible and open to change based on market developments and opportunities
  • Collaboration: Work with other members of SCS marketing and Group marketing to ensure cohesive marketing across the RWS brand and SCS business unit
  • Sales and Client Services support: Work closely with client-facing teams to understand and address customer needs, and provide supporting marketing activity to achieve their objectives
  • Team management: Manage and support team members across the wider SCS marketing team, when applicable
  • Agency and partner management: Utilize and manage external partners and agencies, as needed
  • Measurement and reporting: Monitor, refine and report on success of marketing plan, adjusting approach as necessary based on data and feedback

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable marketing experience, gained in an international organization, ideally in the service industries
  • Experience working with and marketing to enterprise-level customers across global regions
  • Experience working with and managing internal and external partners and agencies
  • Experience working with colleagues across global regions and time zones
  • Ability to plan and manage workload of self and others
  • Skilled in creating and executing marketing plans and using marketing management tools
  • Experience of full-funnel marketing
  • Knowledge and experience successfully utilizing all marketing channels including events, content, digital and social
  • Knowledge of localization industry is a significant advantage
  • Positive, innovative, creative approach to marketing, open to change and always seeking new ideas, concepts and practices to enhance abilities and outputs
