Quantity Surveyors I need your help

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest house builders.

The Role:

As the Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of each development which will include managing the costs for each site and ensuring that targets are met by managing and controlling the budgets and valuations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting detailed cost analysis and preparing estimates for residential construction projects
  • Collaborating with the project team to establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor and supplier agreements to secure the best value for the company
  • Managing and controlling costs throughout the project life cycle, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies
  • Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and identify any variations or issues that may impact project costs
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to the project
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimise cost-effectiveness and efficiency in project delivery

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

  • You're currently operating as a Quantity Surveyor with circa 5+ years experience
  • Residential Developer experience is essential for this role
