Our client are still sub 250 employees and are now hiring for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join a true team of A-Players, who have experienced big exits in previous Data companies. This person will cover a lot of key East coast customers and perform demos' respond to RFI's/RFP's and also operate as the key technical bridge between the business and technical teams.


The ideal profile will come from the; ETL, Data Integration or Data Pipeline space.


Your role will encompass

  • Collaborating with GTM team and C suite and prospects to evaluate and demo our clients’ solutions.
  • Understanding and qualifying customer objectives, effectively communicating our client's technical solution.
  • Supporting the Sales team through discovery, demos, Proofs of Concept (POC), RFP responses, and business justifications.
  • Developing customized applications utilizing our client's solutions
  • Advocating for customer interests, needs, and providing product feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Speak in front of customers and assist on the sales journey.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends in the Financial Services / ETL, Data pipeline space, contributing to thought leadership initiatives to enhance our client's global footprint.
  • Coordinating with Customer Success/Account Management teams for a seamless transition to the post-sales process to ensure successful on-boarding.


Requirements:


  • 5-8+ years pre-sales experience, ideally in the Financial Services Date or ETL / Data space
  • Experience demonstrating value of a platform approach to data engineering
  • SQL and Python programming experience
  • Sales awareness and ability to influence both business and technical audiences
  • Strong presentation and demo skills, able to translate complex data and technology concepts
  • Keen interest in data and analytics, a philosophy of using tech to solve business pain points
  • Able to work in a fast pace VC backed start up environment.
