We are actively seeking Corporate Legal Counsel for the UK and EMEA, providing day-to-day legal support to the UK and EMEA Corporate functions advising on corporate law and transactional legal issues, whilst managing legal and regulatory risk.



We are actively seeking Corporate Legal Counsel located anywhere in the United Kingdom with the following qualifications

  • 5+ years PQE in commercial law but must have at least 5 years experience in in-house providing day-to-day legal support to the UK and EMEA Corporate functions.
  • Substantive experience advising and preparing / reviewing documentation on outsourcing transactions (external and intra-group) which involve the UK and European businesses.
  • Experience supporting external M&A involving the UK and European businesses.
  • Experience advising on ongoing impacts of Brexit.
  • Experience managing external counsels.
  • Experience with the insurance industry preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to work hybrid schedule requiring 3-4 days onsite in client London-based office.
  • Qualified solicitor in England.
  • LLM/JD from an accredited institution.
  • Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.


Support our corporate client on the following:

  • Provide day-to-day legal support to the UK and EMEA Corporate function.
  • Advise on intra-group reorganisations and legal entity rationalisation and liquidation project.
  • Supporting external M&A involving the UK and European businesses.
  • Provide support to UK and European companies of the group including providing necessary corporate legal advice, drafting board papers, minutes and resolutions in relation to dividend payments, capitalisations, EGMs, approval of accounts, director appointments and removals and restructuring transactions.
