Job responsibilities:

We're seeking a highly motivated Shipping Trade Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you'll play a crucial part in driving our European export operations through effective trade policy implementation and vessel space management.

  • Be able to mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

  • Have experience within project management, being able to oversee and execute complex projects from inception to completion.

  • Serve as the focal point for pricing decisions, demonstrating deep knowledge of regional markets and operational infrastructure.

  • Conduct regular analytical reviews, identify trends, and take proactive measures to optimise results.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.

  • Respond promptly to rate requests, analysing market conditions and business contributions to deliver competitive pricing.

  • Prepare accurate and compelling tender submissions that showcase your commercial acumen.

  • Generate comprehensive KPI reports and track performance against key metrics.

  • Coordinate and optimise vessel space allocation, ensuring efficient equipment flow and maximum utilisation.

  • Advocate for the Marketing team in internal and external meetings.

  • Proficiently use trade management systems and maintain accurate data.
