As an Assistant Branch Manager based in Londonderry you’ll be responsible for:

• To support the Branch Manager in the general day to day running of the branch

• To ensure that margin aspirations are closely monitored. Implement plans to improve profit and maximise sales

• Maintains productive relationships with all customers and suppliers, taking ownership for resolving issues relating to orders and customer deliveries

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Proven experience in a similar capacity

• Good understanding of Health and Safety issues and legislation e.g. first aid, manual handling, fire safety and appropriate mechanical handling

• Good understanding of financial planning / P&L accountability

• Excellent people management skills, ideally with experience of coaching, performance and attendance management, discipline and grievance

This is a full time, permanent role working 42.5 hours a week, 07:30am - 17:00pm Monday to Thursday, 07:30am - 16:00pm on Fridays.

Working every other Saturday hours 09:00am - 12:00pm
