The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dynamic Commercial Lead to drive the Furthr message across global business platforms. This role isn’t just about sales; it’s about making a tangible, positive impact on our planet. You will introduce and integrate Furthr's comprehensive sustainability services into some of the world's most influential businesses.

Not just that, we are looking for someone who can educate and provide real value to all prospective clients. Why? Because this is first line of communication on climate for many of our clients, the beginning of long-lasting and meaningful client relationships based on expert advice and no-nonsense support that will deliver positive change to our planet. You will initially be responsible for opening doors, for starting the dialogue and for setting high-quality appointments for our Senior Leadership team, before graduating in leading those efforts.
Your Role
As our Commercial Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients regarding climate solutions. Your role will involve establishing and nurturing long-term, impactful relationships through expert guidance and straightforward support, managing outbound lead engines, nurturing your own pipeline and developing inbound sales avenues. You will play a crucial role in driving Furthr’s growth and shaping the future of our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the qualification and engagement of leads, both from outbound efforts and warm inbound sources, ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
- Refine and implement the sales process across the team, providing leadership and expertise to optimize each stage from initiation to close.
- Meet and exceed business and KPI targets
- Manage the use of the CRM system to maintain an accurate and actionable database of current and potential clients, enhancing data-driven decision-making.
- Direct the negotiation and closure of new accounts, ensuring efficient management of lead and sales data.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams to develop and refine strategies that enhance lead generation, brand positioning, and market penetration.
We’re Looking For:
- Experience in sales or client-facing roles.
- A strong foundation in ESG, environmental science, or climate science.
- Ability to learn and master complex sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including mastery of technical descriptions related to carbon accounting.
- A passion for pitching, both in-person and virtually.
