Role Overview:

The Credit Card Business Application Lead will oversee the end-to-end process of establishing our credit card business. This includes developing a comprehensive application strategy, managing relationships with financial institutions and regulatory bodies, and ensuring all application requirements are met. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the credit card industry, strong project management skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, submission, and follow-up of our credit card business application.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance throughout the application process.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (legal, compliance, finance, marketing, and technology) to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Stay informed about changes in credit card regulations and industry trends, updating internal teams as necessary.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on regulatory matters and their implications for business operations.
  • Oversee the development and launch of the credit card product, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the credit card industry
  • In-depth knowledge of credit card regulations and the application process.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with regulators, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
