We have opportunities to be part of the IT team in the role of Power Platform Developer.


Purpose:


  • Using the Microsoft Power Platform you will be designing and implementing scalable solutions to deliver improved business performance through innovative applications and automations. This includes the extension of capabilities around the D365 platform.
  • To design and develop integrations using Power Automate and Azure Integration Services to deliver application to application integration to optimise business processes, deliver efficiencies and deliver new ways of working across our PLM, ERP and other enterprise platforms.
  • Take an active role in developing and promoting best practices, standards, patterns and deliver a highly performant applications and integrations to the business.


The Key responsibilities of this role are:


  • Working with the business and architecture to design and implement scalable and performant Power Apps to meet new business requirements and to deliver new capabilities to D365. This will also include the integration of data between systems using Power Automate or Azure Integration Services.
  • Develop integrations using the Azure Integration Services and/or Power Automate flows.
  • Provide operational support for the applications and integrations and continuously enhance support processes, problem management and resolution
  • Develop technical and business monitoring dashboards and alerting using Power BI.
  • To chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required
  • To work proactively, responsibly and professionally and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure
  • To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Integration stack
  • To own and mature the Power Platform capabilities within AMF1 including standards, best practice and supporting citizen development.
  • Supporting the development of Power BI dashboard and reports for the business across D365 and other enterprise platforms.


The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:


  • Possess an excellent working knowledge of Azure Integration Services (API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory)
  • Possess an excellent working knowledge of designing, developing and testing integrations and APIs in Azure
  • Experienced in CI/CD automated builds with Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of Agile delivery processes
  • Experience of API tools such as Postman etc.
  • Experience of D365 and using the Power Platform to build applications and integrations.
  • Knowledge of messaging platforms like Kafka, Event Grid would be beneficial
  • Experience of Azure Data Factory (ADF) would be beneficial
  • Experience of Data Verse / SQL Server and other database technologies
  • Excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and communicate technical designs
  • Experience of Microsoft Fabric would be beneficial and / or other Date Lake / Data Warehouse technologies
  • Excellent experience of Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint Online beneficial
  • Excellent problem analysis and resolution skills
