Location: remote

Salary: up to £45,000 + annual bonus (paid in June)


Role Description:

This is a full-time remote or hybrid role for a Visualfiles Developer. The Visualfiles Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using Visualfiles technology. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, design solutions, and implement software enhancements. The Visualfiles Developer will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Visualfiles development, working on projects as part of a team or independently
  • Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle
  • Maintain the Visualfiles case management system
  • Research and develop IT solutions that integrate or work with Visualfiles
  • Work with VRT (SQL) to produce reports and data where required
  • Proactively suggest improvements to software/working practices
  • Work with end users to identify and develop solutions
  • Co-ordinate and prioritise tasks that have been assigned and ensure delivery of projects on time and to the required standard
  • Regularly update the Visualfiles Manager with the progress of work and any related issues
  • Support the end users in the use of the applications


Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience in Visualfiles development and knowledge of legal workflows
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
  • Relevant IT studies in further or higher education
  • Knowledge of other languages/technologies (e.g. C#, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Experience with SQL Server (including SSRS/SSIS)
  • Experience with Macros and VBA for Word and Excel
