The Role

We are looking for a passionate and organised Performance Manager to join our growing team at Apprentify. You will be responsible for overseeing the completion of our apprentices from their apprenticeship journey, ensuring they are well prepared for end point assessment (EPA) and best placed to achieve a successful EPA. You will also oversee learners and employers who are at risk of withdrawing from programme ensuring that action plans from Development Coaches (DCs) are effective and address issues in the apprenticeship journey. This includes managing the RAG report system to proactively address any issues and implement appropriate interventions and managing a team of Development Coaches to maximise their performance.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Development Coaches, providing ongoing support, guidance, and encouragement throughout their management of the apprenticeship journey.
  • Oversee the progress of apprentices using the Bud RAG report system, ensuring at risk learners (Red) are managed effectively by Development Coaches implementing appropriate interventions to get them back on track (Amber/Green).
  • Liaise with Development Coaches, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed and involved in the apprentice’s learning journey.
  • Ensure no apprentices complete their apprenticeship after becoming out of funding (OOF).
  • Ensure all apprentices complete their apprenticeship timely.
  • Support Development Coaches in preparing learners for their end point assessment (EPA)
  • Work closely with the Progress Manager to ensure the healthiness of the provision
  • Monitor apprentice attendance, engagement, and achievement, and report on progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify and address any barriers to learning that apprentices may be facing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of apprenticeship programs by providing feedback and suggestions.
  • Attend relevant training workshops to stay up-to-date on apprenticeship standards, regulations, and best practices.


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with apprentices or learners in a similar setting.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with Development Coaches and learners
  • A passion for education and training, with a commitment to supporting learners in achieving their goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
