We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for the position of Hotel Manager to oversee a 130+ rooms aparthotel in London.
This property features several food and beverage outlets, including a rooftop terrace, so a solid background in managing dynamic F&B environments is essential Additionally, the property is set to undergo an expansion next year to increase its capacity, so if you have project management experience, keep reading.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven record in managing hotels with over 150 rooms, showcasing significant F&B experience, exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and a thorough understanding of the hospitality industry. As the Hotel Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing all hotel operations, ensuring an outstanding guest experience, driving financial performance, and upholding the highest service and quality standards.
The ideal candidate should have:
• A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in the hotel industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven expertise in managing hotels with over 150 rooms and F&B operations, demonstrating outstanding leadership, strategic insight, and a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality sector.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• The capacity to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.
The ideal candidate will:
• Provide strong leadership and direction to all Heads of Departments and hotel staff.
• Cultivate a positive and collaborative working atmosphere.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members to help them reach their full potential.
• Manage the team to ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
• Promptly and professionally address and resolve guest complaints and issues.
• Continuously explore ways to enhance the guest experience.
• Develop and manage the hotel budget.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create effective sales strategies.
• Drive occupancy and revenue through innovative sales initiatives.
• Enhance the hotel's brand presence in the market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, clients, suppliers, and the local community.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
