The Role And Responsibilities

Joining an actuarial team of 9, the role involves all aspects of property and casualty reinsurance actuarial work, primarily pricing multiple lines of business, but also reserving and regulatory tasks.

The successful candidate will explain their work in a professional manner to a variety of stakeholders, particularly underwriters and senior management, but also clients and brokers. Strong inter-personal skills and a desire to learn are essential.


Required Qualifications

The successful applicant will have:

A very strong academic record, including at least a 2:1 degree

Demonstrated progress towards actuarial examinations

Up to two years of industry experience (in either a non-life re/insurer, broker or consultancy)

Exceptional inter-personal skills
