We seek a dedicated and versatile Events and Conference Executive to join our dynamic team at Wakefield Trinity RLFC.
As an Event Executive, your central goal will be to provide outstanding customer service and organise memorable events that meet quality expectations. You'll be responsible for the whole event lifecycle, from concept phase through to execution, ensuring every detail is precise.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and organise diverse events, business and social events, managing all event details such as décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invite list, special guests, equipment, promotional material.
- You'll coordinate with relevant stakeholders, manage event set up, tear down and follow-ups.
- Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process will also be an essential part of your role.
- Digital marketing techniques that can be utilised to escalate event promotion, engagement and add success to our brand to help expand insight and give the customers a feel of the company
- Maximise the space we have within the stadium with different events
- Boosting event revenue and achieving higher client retention rates.
- You might be shortlisting entertainment suppliers one day and meeting the CEO of your client organisation the next, so you need to be versatile.
- Run a wide range of events, ensuring the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly. Events play a huge part in the success of our brand and organisation outside of match days.
- you'll need effective interpersonal skills. You'll need to focus on being friendly, empathetic and respectful when interacting with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors, staff and event attendees.
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
Our ideal candidate would have a proven track record as an event manager with impeccable attention to detail. They must demonstrate an ability to lead and manage a team effectively, have strong negotiation skills, and be able to create lasting relationships with suppliers. Sound knowledge of the event management process, excellent time management skills, and the ability to think creatively and innovatively are also required.

Additional Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in event management is desirable. Significant experience managing budgets, and knowledge with software for event management is desired.
