Butter & Crust is looking for a Social Media Content Creator

In lockdown we started delivering bread and pastries to our neighbours. Now thousands of households across London wake up to our freshly baked bundles each weekend.


We've grown rapidly, passing £1m in annual recurring revenues and a successful recent fundraising round provides us with runway for several years.


As we expand London-wide in 2024, we're seeking a talented Content Creator to create facebook video ads and support our organic social media.. You will report partly into the Head of Organic Marketing for all organic-related activity, and our Head of Performance Marketing for ad content.

Role Overview:


As a Content Creator at Butter & Crust, you will be instrumental in helping us towards our goals by assisting in the creation of paid and organic content. We are looking for somebody who is confident in front of the camera, brimming with ideas, and possesses the capability to make them a reality and help us stand out from the crowd.


Altogether, your focuses will include:


Helping to Improve our Digital Presence:


  • Advertising Content: You will conceptualise, record, and edit videos to be ran as Facebook ads. These will be lo-fi video ads shot on iPhone e.g. behind the scenes content, UGC-style unboxings etc.
  • Social Media: Work with the Head of Organic Marketing to ensure that we’re making content which suits our audience and represents us well as a brand. While also staying on top of any fun and emerging trends or aspects we can incorporate into our plans.


✅ Your Profile:


  • Highly confident being in front of camera to create content.
  • Strong experience editing video content in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar.
  • Experience creating video-first content for a brand or personal channels.
  • Hands-on knowledge of key social media platforms (i.e. Meta and Instagram) with a strong understanding of newer media like TikTok.
  • An open and welcome communicator that enjoys being a part of a team
  • A creative thinker looking for a place to let their ideas come to fruition.
  • A personal love for all things baked and delicious with a strong knowledge of the London baking scene, and an ability to convey that to our audience via social media content.


Bonus Points for:

  • Experience specifically editing content for Meta ads.
  • An updated portfolio of social media work (personal or brands)
