THE ROLE: Our client is a market leading reseller of vending capital equipment. They are seeking a driven, energetic and focused junior candidates to join their Borehamwood office as a Business Development Manager. Your role will be phone and Teams based and will involve converting incoming leads, generating new customer contacts and pitching your proposition to SME and Corporate businesses. There will be daily and weekly KPIS and structured training will be provided. Once settled in role, there is the option to work 3 days per week from home. After 3- 6 months candidates will ideally move to a field based position and manage a territory South East based customers face to face.



THE PERSON: Our client is looking for driven, bright and coachable candidates with a desire to break into a sales career. Internal sales or customer service candidates would be ideal for this or a candidate wanting hybrid work. Non graduates who have 12 months + in a phone based selling position would be very desirable. Full training will be provided so experience in this industry is not essential. You will need to be target focused, enthusiastic, motivated and forward thinking to succeed in this role. Candidates with experience of working to daily or weekly targets or making cold calls or reacting to customer enquiries will do very well here.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:

  • Graduate with some internal sales or customer facing experience
  • A non graduate who has worked in internal, external sales or recruitment before
  • Drive to work in sales and happy working to daily targets.
  • Access to Borehamwood and must be able to drive
  • Desire to have a career and get noticed, either in the office or out in the field team
  • Team player and results driven sales person wanting step up in their career.



THE PACKAGE FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

  • Basic: £35-40,000
  • OTE: £20,000
  • Hybrid - 3 days in office and 2 days at home with development to field sales
