A globally recognized leader in delivering critical engineering solutions across diverse industries is seeking a SECURITY CLEARED - Mechanical Engineer. The company is known for its expertise in providing high-quality engineering solutions catering to various sectors and delivering indispensable support on a global scale.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the team responsible for the delivery of the mechanical engineering package, throughout the design phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and author engineering concepts and deliverables to the required scope.
  • Work with awareness of Hazards associated with the work undertaken.

Required

  • Active SC
  • Design of mechanical and nuclear process / plant systems.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design and safety practices
  • Familiarity with submarine, facility, or process plant systems
  • Knowledge of safety function substantiation (preferably in nuclear contexts).
  • Ability to produce P&ID and fabrication drawings (BS8888).
