The Company


Carrot Recruitment are acting as a recruitment agency sourcing a Clinical Trials Sub-Investigator for a permanent full-time position at our clients London facility. This award winning clinical services provider who is recognised as having world leading research centres works closely with industry sponsors. This is a great opportunity to join this company at an exciting stage in its development, and be part of the clinical team working towards identifying suitable treatments which will positively impact patients’ lives.


The Role

  • Responsible for the patients taking part in the study
  • Maintain study compliance in relation to the ICH-GCP
  • Accurately record patient data, inclusive of patient’s response to the trial and effectively reporting adverse events as per protocol, providing medical treatment to all patients as required
  • Complete tasks as delegated by the Principle Investigator and attend investigator meetings as required
  • Manage the clinical trial as required, providing adequate guidance, training and mentoring to ensure that the study is completed to the higher standard, to protocol and fully compliant.


You

  • Valid and in date GMC registration with no restrictions
  • Clinical experience as a Doctor (e.g General Practitioner, A&E Doctor, SHO)
  • Extensive understanding and awareness of the role of a research physician in a commercial clinical trials capacity and the relationship between the clinical trial site and the pharmaceutical sponsor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the wider clinical research team
  • Able to complete all required training as needed to carry out clinical trials
  • Desire to progress in a clinical research physician position
  • Keen interest in clinical research
  • Experience of working on commercial clinical trials (Desired)
