Our client, an SME global bank, are looking to hire an experienced Risk (Operational, Credit and Financial Risk) professional, with ideally at least 4-5 years’ of relevant experience in their senior Risk Manager position.


Based in their West London office and offering a base salary up to £80,000. Alongside a non-contributory pension, discretionary bonus, and wider benefits such as private medical covers


Please note this position is based full time in their office, for 5 days per week


Responsibilities:

  • Managing the risk register and support managing the process for developing risk policies, procedures and risk limits.
  • Assist development of the process to identify and evaluate business areas' risks including Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Business and Strategic Risk, Pension obligation Risk, Group Risk and Reputational Risk
  • Carry out stress-testing, ILAAP reporting, and support managing the credit function minimizing risk, and contributing to the profitability of the Bank


Ideally you will be or have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience within risk management in a similar Banking, or at least Financial Services, environment
  • Previous experience with reporting on, analysing, and implementing policies around Operational, Market, and Credit risks.
  • Hands on experience liaising on risk issues across the business with senior stakeholders and enhancing risk control frameworks.
  • Knowledge of liquidity risks, ICAAP & ILAAP reporting, and financial risk principles.
