Role Overview:

My client is seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud technologies, containerisation, and automation, with a focus on creating, maintaining, and optimising infrastructure and deployment pipelines. This role requires collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our applications.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools.
  • Build and manage containerised applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
  • Deploy and manage resources across AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams on deploying and optimising applications built on .NET/C#.
  • Configure and manage relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Ensure the CI/CD pipelines are efficient, automated, and robust.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.


Core Skills:

  • AWS/Azure: Deep understanding of architecture and services.
  • Kubernetes: Expertise in container orchestration and scaling.
  • Terraform: Proven ability to implement and manage infrastructure as code.
  • Docker: Proficiency in building and managing containers.
  • .NET/C#: Strong familiarity with application development and deployment.
  • Database Management: Solid knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent communicational skills


Desirable Skills:

  • Keycloak: Experience with identity and access management.
  • Helm: Knowledge of Kubernetes package management.
  • Python: Preferred for scripting and automation tasks.
  • React: Familiarity with front-end integration and support.
  • Google Cloud: Bonus points for multi-cloud expertise.
