Role Responsibilities:


As a member of the Infrastructure Finance team, you will:


  • Advise on Complex Transactions: Lead and manage the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of infrastructure finance transactions, including acquisition financings and refinancings. These transactions will span a variety of asset classes, such as airports, energy transition businesses, and digital infrastructure, including data centres.


  • Expertise: Utilise your deep understanding of infrastructure finance, particularly in areas like bank lending, European institutional funding, US private placements, and structured financing platforms. You will act on behalf of both lenders and sponsors, delivering tailored, strategic advice that meets the specific needs and objectives of your clients.


  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial sponsors and other clients, acting as their designated funder counsel. Understand their needs and objectives to provide tailored, strategic advice.


  • Collaborative Work Environment: Work closely with other practice areas within the firm and coordinate with international offices on cross-border transactions, ensuring seamless service delivery across jurisdictions.


  • Supervision and Mentorship: As a Senior Associate, you will take on supervisory responsibilities, mentoring junior associates and trainees. You will delegate tasks appropriately, guide them through complex transactions, and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.


Ideal Candidate:


The ideal candidate will be UK qualified and between 3-8PQE with experience in infrastructure finance, including acquisition financings and refinancings, with a comprehensive understanding from both the lender and sponsor sides.
