About Us:

We are a growing experiential live events agency seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Project Director to direct and take full ownership of the live events and experiential programme for our key account.


We're looking for someone who leads from the front, meets and exceeds client expectations, and inspires their team to be the best they can be, whilst driving continuous improvement across all areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Ownership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams to plan and deliver successful events, driving process improvements and efficiencies across the entire programme.
  • Strategic Leadership: Understand the strategic direction of the clients' event portfolios, ensuring alignment with their business and brand objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong, assertive communication skills with the ability to command the room when engaging with multiple stakeholders, venues, and/or third-party suppliers—always prioritising the client’s event programme and needs.
  • Client Partnerships: Serve as the primary point of contact for our key client, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring events align with their brand goals and KPIs.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and line manage your team to deliver flawless event execution while fostering continuous improvement.
  • Financial Control: Oversee budgets and resources to ensure both profitability and exceptional delivery, while implementing expense control measures.


What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of event project management experience, delivering high-profile events, activations, and roadshows.
  • Proven experience working within and for agencies, with a strong understanding of agency dynamics and the end-to-end event journey.
  • Proven account management skills with the ability to build strong client relationships, anticipate needs, and drive retention and growth.
  • Strong leadership experience, managing teams and achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial acumen and financial expertise, with a proven ability to manage budgets and maximise ROI.
  • A creative problem-solver who embraces new ideas and inclusive approaches.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of managing diverse live event portfolios, ideally within the automotive or related sectors.
