ROLE OVERVIEW //

We are recruiting for a Referrals administrator to join the Global Client Development (GCD) team which sits within the larger Commercial team.


The GCD team works closely with fee earners across the firm on a broad range of initiatives geared to growing and strengthening relationships with clients and strategic referral partners around the world. Taking an integrated approach to business development, we bring together regional, practice and sector-based expertise within one team. It is a team that is outcome-focused, continually tracking, analysing, evaluating and optimising the work that it delivers. The collection and recording of high-quality information is an integral part of the team’s delivery.

The successful candidate will directly report to the Digital Data Executive.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //

The key responsibilities of this role are set out below and there may be others which are not listed. You may be required on occasion to work outside our normal working hours of 9:30am to 5:30pm.


  • Recording and updating key information in respect of international clients and matters – with a particular focus on referral information – in the central client relationship management system, team trackers, and mailbox folders.
  • Liaising with fee-earners to obtain valuable information in relation to international clients and matters – in particular referral information - and then recording this (see above) so that it can be easily accessed.
  • Producing reports which present the information collected and recorded, ready for deeper analysis.
  • Working closely with members of the GCD team to help support the provision of robust referral suggestions.
  • Feeding into best practice guides and training in respect of how information in respect of international clients and matters is collected and recorded.
  • Taking part in systems testing and being the point of contact for queries (once trained).
  • Wider information-tagging and cleansing tasks to maintain the quality of international client and matter information.


CANDIDATE PROFILE //

The role would suit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a robust, professional personality, who is detail-oriented and has an interest in international matters.

Candidates for this position must have:


  • Strong IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • High levels of attention to detail and precision
  • Excellent writing skills (including setting things out clearly, concisely and with good use of grammar)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with an ability to seek and collect information from busy fee-earners
  • An ability to quickly learn and up-skill on systems-based tasks
  • A curiosity to problem-solve, together with an eye for identifying and suggesting process / systems improvements
  • An ability to manage multiple deliverables within a tight timeframe and deliver high quality work
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • A keenness to work within and foster an inclusive team culture
  • A high level of professionalism and integrity; displaying the highest standard of professional ethics
