Congleton UK, Cheshire, United Kingdom Thrive - The Brand + Demand Agency Full time

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious all-round Designer to join our creative team. The role is extremely varied and offers the opportunity to work across many mediums.

You’ll be developing creative concepts and design work across both print and digital formats – everything from brochures and large format print, to websites, animation and social assets.

You’ll need excellent practical and technical knowledge of Adobe CS and excellent attention to detail is a must. You’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas on every project and campaign.

Ideally you’ll have worked in an agency for 3-4 years, equally you may have comparable experience client side. As a key player in the creative team you’ll report directly to our Design Lead.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing design work from concept to artwork
  • Working on branding, campaigns, design for print, digital/web, storyboarding, animation and video editing
  • Adapting existing artwork and retouching imagery
  • Ensuring work is consistent, accurate and follows client brand guidelines
  • Setting up, managing and archiving artwork files
  • Managing and updating client’s brand assets
  • Proofing artwork prior to print and checking printers’ proofs
  • Contributing ideas and bringing your own perspective to briefs
  • Collaborating with agency colleagues, harnessing their expertise, learning from them and sharing your own knowledge and ideas

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator in particular, Adobe XD and AfterEffects ideally.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking – applying your knowledge and experience to mitigate risks and ensure smooth delivery of work
  • Flexibility and agility to deal with client demands, you’ll need the ability to shift focus and priorities quickly.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and develop personally.

Attributes we look for:

  • A commitment to great work that works. This is what we create and deliver for our clients. It’s the thing that makes a difference to their business and to our reputation.
  • A love of our industry – a point of view and an eagerness to tackle challenging (yet rewarding) work.
  • A collaborative approach to work – no-one is better than everyone here.
  • A client first mindset – you’ll be driven by their success; it’s how we measure ours.

What we can offer you.

Over the last 14 years we’ve enjoyed success on the back of great work and exceptional client service. Our agency has grown largely based on reputation and referral business, and we have a strong and enviable client portfolio which spans many sectors.

Our broad range of clients means you’ll work with exciting start-ups, ambitious scale-ups and well recognised brands.

We work in an open, friendly and non-heirarchical way, where everyone has the opportunity to contribute. Whether it’s with clients or colleagues, we believe that together we’re better – it’s at the heart of our you thrive, we thrive philosophy.

Some of the benefits of working here:

  • 28 days holiday (plus Bank hols)
  • Pension contribution
  • Free parking
  • Free drinks, fruit, biscuits and treats
  • Regular 1-2-1s focussed on your development
  • Mentoring from senior people within the agency
  • Social activities

We're offering a salary of £27,000 to £29,000 depending on experience, skillset and quality of work.
