Purpose of the Role

Due to continued growth, LB Group is recruiting for a newly created position within the Property Taxes department. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-orientated Operations Executive to come and join our Tax team in either our Colchester, Chelmsford, Ipswich or Strafford office.

Reporting into our Property Taxes Associate Director and working in a team environment, you will provide high level project management support to assist the tax technical team with all processes around the delivery of premium advisory work. You will have full oversight of all premium advisory work from engagement through to delivery and manage workflows from onboarding to completion. You will be responsible for reviewing current and future pipelines of work for the team, producing reports for targets and trends.

Accountabilities

  • Assisting with internal ‘Know your Client/ Business’ and AML requirements of new and existing clients, including preparation of Engagement Letters.
  • Budgeting and Financial Performance tracking.
  • Managing ongoing project workflow and delivering updates to team and clients.
  • Implementing and controlling general internal processes for the tax advisory team.
  • Assisting with creating and maintaining marketing materials for internal and external releases / communications.
  • Assisting with delivery of proposals for prospective projects.
  • Liaising with clients, HMRC and other third parties where appropriate.
  • Assisting with general business support and administrative duties of the advisory teams
  • Monitoring WIP Vs Budgets for ongoing projects & drafting fee notes.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a professional service industry
  • Project Management experience
  • AML knowledge desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
