Health Economist (Technical Lead – International Market Access)
Compensation: Negotiable from c.£82’000 pa
Location: Predominantly home-based with some travel to their office and clinical sites
About the Role
Our client is seeking their first Health Economist to join their growing organisation and aid the process of launching a variety of products in domestic and international markets.
The successful candidate will be passionate about demonstrating the value of healthcare through economic modelling and data analysis.
In this role, the Health Economist will act as the primary Technical Lead for health economics projects and contribute to the development of solutions that will support the company’s growth in the UK and internationally.
The position involves close cross functional collaboration to drive evidence-based decision-making.
Relevant expertise is important but we’re also looking for someone who can find solutions for projects not previously experienced such as submissions in a new country.
Requirements
Advanced degree in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Statistics, or Medical Sciences.
Expertise in economic and statistical analysis, including econometric modeling and healthcare market assessment.
Knowledge of healthcare policies, systems, and regulatory frameworks.
Proficiency in statistical software (such as Stata, R, or SAS) and data visualization tools.
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, cross-functional work approach.
Openness to international travel.
