We are seeking a Financial Controller for a business based on the outskirts of Cambridge to oversee and co-ordinate the smooth running of the finance function.

Reporting to the VP Finance, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting and analysis requirements of the business, ensuring that the business meets its strategic objectives.

Duties include;

* Oversee timely production of monthly management accounts,
* Monitor financial performance of the site and highlight issues for discussion
* Communicate KPI's to management team
* Oversee production of short and medium term budgeting and forecasting
* Costing and justification for CAPEX
* Ensure effective financial controls are in place
* Ensure revenue recognition is applied correctly
* Submit R&D tax credits to HMRC
* Support UK Corporation tax filing
* Cashflow forecasting, treasury and FX management

This a broad role and is effectively the number one finance role in the UK. Interested candidates must be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent and will possess experience in a similar role.

Please note, this role requires the successful candidate to be office based, although they do offer flexible working.
