About the role:
Reporting to our Commercial Director, as the Export & International Sales Manager you will own and deliver the strategic annual export & international sales plan to grow our much-loved brands as well developing private label and Co pack customers worldwide.
A key role within our Commercial team, the successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with our NPD, Category, Finance and Customer Service teams to drive new product development and ensuring opportunities for international sales are maximised within our existing customer base as well as working to exceed expectations with new business development.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining and developing strategic relationships with our Distributor’s, International Supermarket customers and Co Pack partners
- Creating and executing a long-term strategy for the various regions deciding on the key areas of focus
- Ensure our proposition (product, price, promotion & place) is always fit for purpose and make changes as required
- Working to pre-agreed financial KPI’s for the sector
- Regularly analyse performance data to swiftly identify potential issues & opportunities and implement corrective actions as necessary
- Periodic reporting to internal stakeholders on regional performance
- Liaising with the Marketing and NPD teams on products, position, brand guidelines, trade marketing initiatives etc.
- Prepare sales documentation, proposals, reports, competitor information, analysis, export documents and correspondence to a high standard

- A driven, self-starter able to generate enthusiasm, manage challenge and drive action. Relishes the opportunity to engage colleagues across the business to drive brand growth
- Demonstrable experience within FMCG export sales & account management, preferably within the ambient food sector
- You will possess strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Analytical mind-set with the capability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Happy to travel extensively in both the UK & internationally
- Full, clean driving licence
