What role will you play?

You will support the Legal team based in London covering the Private Credit asset management business. This role will report directly to the Head of Legal for Macquarie Asset Management Private Credit. You will take a commercial approach to problem solving including the ability to distill complex regulation and legal issues into practical advice.

What you offer

You will have private practice and/or in-house legal experience in asset management, with strong familiarity with European and UK asset management regimes and private fund structures. You will have worked on a number of European fundraising in the private / alternative funds sector, ideally from the perspective of both managers and investors. Experience with fund structures in other jurisdictions, in particular the US, will be a benefit but not a requirement. As Macquarie Asset Management is a global investment manager, you will be required to work on cross border transactions with the ability to communicate effectively between our global regions.
