Introduction: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Solicitor with a specialisation in Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling all aspects of claims related to NIHL, offering expert legal advice, and providing compassionate support to clients who have suffered hearing loss due to workplace noise exposure or other negligent environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough case assessments to determine the viability of NIHL claims and advise clients on the best course of action.
  • Gather and analyze evidence, including medical reports, workplace records, and expert testimony to build strong cases.
  • Represent clients in negotiations with employers, insurance companies, and other parties to secure fair compensation.
  • Prepare and manage all legal documentation related to NIHL claims, including claim forms, briefs, and appeal processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments and changes in personal injury law, particularly those affecting noise-induced hearing loss cases.
  • Attend court hearings and trials when necessary, presenting cases effectively to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
  • Provide empathetic and professional client service, ensuring clients are informed and supported throughout the legal process.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, occupational health experts, and acoustics specialists to substantiate claims and improve case outcomes.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in personal injury law, specifically handling NIHL or related cases.
  • Strong understanding of the legal framework and regulations surrounding occupational health and safety.
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with a track record of successful case resolutions.
  • Proficient in legal research and the use of case management systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Desirable Skills:

  • Additional certifications or training in occupational health law.
  • Experience in multi-track litigation.
  • Published articles or papers on personal injury law or occupational health issues.
