O50C are excited to be working with one of the UK’s leading residential organisation seeking an inspiring and ambitious Build-to-Rent (BTR) Manager overseeing the development of their national and regional BTR portfolio. This is a newly created position and is ideal for a seasoned professional with 3 plus years previous experience in the BTR sector who can deliver operational excellence, ensure safety compliance, boost sales performance, and maximize revenue across multiple geographic areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement standardized operational procedures across all BTR properties
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including maintenance, leasing, and customer service
  • Optimize property performance through data-driven decision-making and strategic planning
  • Ensure all properties adhere to safety regulations and industry standards
  • Implement and maintain robust safety protocols across the portfolio
  • Conduct regular safety audits and address any issues promptly
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants
  • Optimise sales funnels and implement strategies to improve conversion rates
  • Analyse market trends to accurately price rental properties and maximize revenue
  • Inspire and lead a team of property managers, maintenance staff, and leasing agents
  • Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity
  • Manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Produce comprehensive reports on portfolio performance, including occupancy rates, rental income, and arrears
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior management


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of the UK BTR market, trends, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant degree in Real Estate, Business Management, or related field
  • Professional certifications in property management (e.g., IRPM, ARLA) are advantageous
