Immersum is supporting the growth of an AI SaaS business who are award winning leaders in their field. They are looking to bring on 2 Security Engineers to work within their Security team of 4 working with engineering, product management and secops teams ensuring their product delivers the highest levels of security internally and externally.
The Role:
You will have an excellent opportunity to join a business moving to scale-up mode after securing substantial Series A funding, where you can define and grow your career in a fast paced business. Working alongside expert teams across Engineering and Product you will get to work across multiple projects to expand your skills across a world class tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
Detection engineering for existing and emerging threats using their advanced platforms, and continuously refine them to counter evolving cyber threats. Researching and writing detections to current standards using the Mitre framework. Develop tools and infrastructure to manage the lifecycle of detection capabilities.
For automated security testing, create and maintain tools to verify and validate detections continuously, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and well-integrated with existing systems.
Experience:
- Detection Engineering thread led and test led (researching and writing)
- Deep knowledge with Cybersecurity attacks and InfoSec, how attackers think and breaking down threats and writing detections
- Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK
- Some red team knowledge
- Experience in one or more of: reverse engineering, defense analysis, incident response, vulnerability research or computer forensics.
- Some experience (personal projects or commercial) with Python or similar for scripting and automation
