Head of Chemical Regulations

We are seeking a Head of Chemical Regulations who will play a critical role in shaping the product portfolio that spans various sectors, including liquid soaps, sanitisers, insecticides, and hard surface cleaners. This position involves ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations across multiple geographies while driving innovation in product development. consumer-facing projects with a global reach, into the hygiene and wellbeing industry.


In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Innovation teams to develop, modify, and scale-up formulations and packaging in alignment with business needs.
  • Identify gaps within the product portfolio and collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product requirements.
  • Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements before market launch, supporting the Product Development Director with compliance assurance to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Oversee change projects related to consumables and ensure effective project management processes are followed.
  • Work closely with the Science and Regulatory teams at our Global Science Centre to maintain alignment on product development activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations through effective product traceability processes.
  • Manage relationships with eco-accreditation bodies, such as EU Ecolabel and Nordic Swan.
  • Foster strong technical relationships with customers and suppliers.


Requirements:

  • Significant experience in product development or technical management, with a preference for backgrounds in cosmetics, biocides, and/or pesticides.
  • Familiarity with international Regulatory Affairs is a plus.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing technical teams.
  • Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and regions; willingness to travel frequently.
