A new role has arisen with an Aerospace company in Buckinghamshire for an Information Security Subject Matter Expert who has a background in Risk Management and experience within UK Defence or Aerospace.


Accountabilities


The SME will take ownership of several key areas that include maintaining their ISMS, ensuring their products are aligned to relevant security standards (mostly to UK MoD benchmarks) and managing IT Health Checks conducted by 3rd parties.


Competencies


This role would suit an Information Security specialist with:


  1. Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  2. Knowledge and experience with relevant standards incl. ISO27001, NCSC and MoD Cyber Security Model
  3. Industry experience within UK Defence and Aerospace
  4. The ability to work autonomously and coordinating with multiple teams


Its a great opportunity to take a lead in shaping positive change and driving improvements in security compliance and culture.


Location and Process


This role will be based mostly on-site in their Buckinghamshire offices with scope for one to two days per week from home.


The interview process will be two stages, the first stage being conducted remotely, and the second on-premises.


The role will require eligibility and willingness to undergo UK SC Clearance if not already held.
