We're currently looking for an experienced Marketing Technology Manager to join our Campaign & Marketing Technology team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a senior role as part of a small team of dedicated specialists who are building a marketing technology centre of excellence by delivering best-in-class technology, enabling gold stand reporting and evolving to a seamless customer journey.

This business-critical role ensures the efficient and automated marketing data flow and processes, as well as the optimised data driven decision-making across marketing, and ensures that the customer experience delivers demand and lead generation.

To be successful in this role you will be able to confidently demonstrate your ability to utilise outstanding communication and project management skills, by collaborating across various functions to:

- Manage all marketing tools and technology, optimise approaches, and monitor impact of changes implemented.
- Ensure effective lead scoring, high quality lead handover, optimisation of lead management processes and regular reporting.
- Optimise Hubspot and Salesforce integrations for marketing and sales team benefits.
- Optimise profiling of customers and leads and ensure that information is easily accessible for both marketing and sales teams.
- Provide analytics to evidence marketing impact over time and in relation to other business activities.
- Work closely with digital team to support website development projects and integration of website optimisation tools. Feed results into marketing activities.
- Automate and personalise marketing processes where possible, tracking of campaign impact and profiling of contacts.
- Keep abreast of latest marketing technologies and apply these where appropriate to marketing activities.
- Lead on the development and implementation of digital marketing and data management processes.
- Project management of large digital marketing upgrade projects with the digital and business systems teams.
- Apply digital marketing tools and processes to campaign activities and tracking.
- Work with our automated marketing platforms to share relevant content, improve conversion rates and evaluate for optimisation of future campaigns.
- Track and analyse the impact of our marketing, identifying trends and opportunities to ensure that the brand is at the forefront of industry developments.
- Understanding the vision, personality, and tone of voice of the Oxford Nanopore brand

What we're looking for…

- A degree in life sciences, computer science or marketing subject or equivalent, an advanced CIM qualification would also be desirable.
- A dynamic, enthusiastic self-starter who enjoys working in a matrixed team environment.
- Strong cross functional teamworking and communication skills, as well as excellent written ability
- Knowledge and experience working with complex marketing technology stacks.
- HubSpot and Salesforce system experience highly desirable
- Previous experience and proven success in data management and digital marketing.
- Use of marketing automation and analytics to guide and drive campaigns.
- Experience improving SEO, search and display would be an advantage
- Experience building and maintaining revenue attribution models.
- An understanding of customer behaviour and of working in the life science industry.
- Knowledge of molecular genetics and genomics would be desirable.
