GS-Solutions are partnered with a large telecommunications business who are looking to hire multiple Fibre Planners on a contract basis, see role details below.


As a Fibre Planner you will complete fibre network designs on a variety of project types using cutting edge GIS tools & design methodologies. Role and Responsibilities Plan optical fibre paths and produce design packs such as; - Prelim Detailed Design (DD) / High Level Design (HLD) - Low Level Design (LLD)/ Detailed Design (DD) - SLD - Splice Sheets - BOMs & BOQs - Special Engineering Difficulty Planning Support & mentor graduate fibre planners and pass on knowledge as required Ensure client satisfaction at all stages Meeting delivery dates and design targets Ensuring all design guideline updates from customer are implemented in your designs
