Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant Gynaecologist at In-OVO FERTILITY CLINIC in Belfast. The Consultant Gynaecologist will be responsible for providing expert medical care in Reproductive Medicine. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.


Essential skills

  • To be competent in pelvic ultrasound scanning
  • To be competent in consulting patients and perform procedures as required for fertility treatment
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • To be able to work as part of a MDT with other doctors, embryologists, nurses and administrative staff
  • To have good organisational and administrative skills
  • Computing and IT skills and understanding of EMR


Qualifications

  • MBBS, or equivalent medical qualification
  • MRCOG, or equivalent
  • Completion of ultrasound training
  • Proven experience in infertility medicine


Desirable

  • Subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery or Certification of the RCOG ATSM-Management of Infertile Couple
