The Company
A privately owned technology business providing specialist process engineering solutions with a particular focus on the bakery sector.
An established company with a strong brand reputation and dedicated to delivering high value capital equipment that enhances production efficiency and product quality for customers around the world.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Sales Director to author a sales strategy, focused on driving incremental growth for the brand across both existing and new customers.
- Implement a proactive sales approach to increase market penetration and drive revenue growth across UK and European markets with a key focus on bakery & biscuit manufacturers.
- Maintain and strengthen the company’s brand presence with end user customers emphasizing the added value of the technology.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, especially at group level, to foster long term partnerships and secure repeat business.
- Review, refine and optimise the existing agent network in Europe ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
- Work closely with internal projects and applications teams to ensure customer needs are met with tailored technical solutions.
- Extensive European travel to meet customers, agents and partners promoting the technology and expanding market reach.
Requirements
- Proven experience in selling high value capital equipment into the food industry ideally across UK & Europe.
- Ability to develop and execute proactive sales strategies that drive growth in competitive markets.
- Strong relationship building skills with a track record of managing and growing key accounts at group level.
- Experience working with and refining agent networks in European markets.
- Proactive, self-motivated and with a performance focussed approach to sales.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across UK and Europe.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, an additional European language would be a distinct advantage.
