We are a leading energy services company looking for an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse range of energy sector services, including lifting operations, equipment inspections, rope access work, and ATV services.
Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of skilled technicians, supervisors, and project managers.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs, ensuring staff adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to encourage professional growth.
Project Oversight
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Coordinate resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments to ensure smooth operations.
Safety and Compliance
- Uphold strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and maintain a robust safety management system, conducting regular safety audits and corrective actions when needed.
Client Relations
- Act as the primary contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and they are satisfied with our services.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and prepare proposals.
Operational Excellence
- Design and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure we maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 7 years in the energy services industry, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Deep understanding of lifting operations, equipment inspections, rope access, and ATV services.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations, including LOLER, PUWER, and IRATA.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and complex projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work in diverse environments, including offshore platforms, wind farms, and industrial sites.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
